Landscapes & People
Most of my landscapes contain people which is a lesson learned from my mother. She believed that people added important information about the scale and era. For example, hair styles and clothing often indicated an approximate date. I sometimes argued that pure landscapes devoid of people were more universal. It is interesting how I followed her advice without even realizing it.
The person is Maggie Howard, photography student.
